    One of our favorite Mexican restaurants. We live in Rome, so it was a bit tricky to find but well worth it.

    This is our favorite local mexican restaurant.  I love the tacos and my kids love the beans and rice. Don't order dessert though.  I got a tres leches cheesecake and it was still frozen and ess badly freezer burnt.

    Would NOT even give this place a star. This was the WORST restaurant experience I have EVER had. Due to one of us not drinking(not having an ID and being of age) the waiter came to the table and said she was going to have to remove all alcohol from the table. Was so rude how she handled the situation and NONE of us will be returning. HORRIBLE customer service.

    El charro has spoiled us and since we have been, no other Mexican has been able to live up to them. The food is amazing, the staff is always happy and helpful, and the margaritas are incredible. We especially love to sit on the patio on a nice day. Go here! You won't regret it.

    This was my third attempt to eat at this restaurant. The hours on website and Yelp are wrong. Make sure you call ahead before trekking out there. Oh yea the menu that's online was totally different too. As a vegetarian it's important to check out menu online before attempting. Vegetarian menu options online were pretty extensive so we gave it a try. New menu (as stated by waitress) was brand new. There were only vegetarian quesadillas available, but they were delicious!. Fresh table guac was good too. Will be back and will probably try sitting outside next time.
